This past year I have made it a personal mission to add more Black owned brands to my routine and closet. I even have a highlight on my IG to spread even more awareness. Lately I’ve been shopping and loving the ones in this roundup! I want to make this a regular roundup so I’ll be sharing more black owned businesses in different categories each month😁
FASHION

SammyB NY
I met Samantha Black of SammyB designs a few years back through a photographer we both knew. I’ve loved her line since seeing her on Project Runway. The set I bought (pictured to the left) came across my IG feed and I had to have it! She is a Brooklyn based designer.

If you’ve been following me you know I stan Hanifa. So much so, I just grabbed a few more pieces from their sample sale last week. I love the quality of their clothes and customer service, watch my full review in my YouTube video.

JEWELRY
Patrice Monét Designz
My newest earrings are from Patrice Monét Designz. She has so many cute handmade pieces and my favorite are the clear earrings (pictured to the right). I love that they make a statement without being too over powering.
Perade
Perade has African influenced jewelry and beaded bags. I’ve been wearing the Africa necklace ever since I received it and can’t wait to wear my Africa hoops.
Lelia + Mae
One of the staples in my jewelry box for almost 2 years now is, Lelia + Mae. I simply adore the brand and team behind it. Get 20% off your purchase here.
Ebony Design Studio
I believe I came across Ebony Design Studio via social media and fell in love with her customer trays and catchalls. I loved the idea of of being able to have a few of her pieces in my new content room. I will be ordering another set soon! My tray is pictured to the right with the Patrice Monet Designz earrings.

BEAUTY

Neter Gold
I’ve been following Neter Gold for a while now and I love their humor and family oriented marketing style. Even if you don’t purchase, follow them for their adorable sons. I recently bought the No-Kill Brush with custom engraving. This brush is cruelty free and an alternative to a boar/nylon bristle brush.
Rosen Skincare
I’ve been using Rosen Skincare for about a year now and it is a staple in my daily skincare routine. It has really tamed my cystic acne and gotten rid of so many dark marks. Use code RAVEN15 for 15% off your purchase. They are also available for purchase at Target, Nordstrom, and Anthropologie.
